Jazz All Stars
Have any of yall take the NBA All-Star Game halftime show w / Dr. John, Nevielle Bros and other jazz greats?
Yes I saw the half-hour very entertaining show, but my favorite was the national anthem one of my favorites Bradford Marsalis musician, a very good version of the anthem. Ellis Marsalis and Harry Connick Jr. made a nice piano duo. You saw two of Marsalis's father and older brother who is a musician. Everyone was great really enjoyed it.
Based on Pink Floyd's hit album, this dazzling rock musical stars Bob Geldof as Pink, a rock star tortured by his past and descending into madness. His breakdown is represented by striking live-action and animated sequences and such Floyd songs as "Another Brick in the Wall," "Comfortably Numb," "Goodbye Blue Sky," "The Trial" and others. Group Concert Dvd
entertainment ideas please!?
I'm working for the UN, and live in a third world country. There are, obviously, non-commercial, concerts, parks, restaurants, etc. If I see another DVD provided, I will mourn. I'm seriously low on the books, and a girl can only read much anyway. My eyes are glassy surf the net (and Yahoo!). What I can do for fun? Note that is was very hot, and I'm pretty limited to stay within the camps for security reasons. I leave it to a more developed country every few months, so they can buy some basics, if you have any idea. It can be group activities as well, because there are plenty of other people get bored.

On July 21, 1983, the legendary Diana Ross took the stage in New York's Central Park before an audience of over 800,000. Soon after the show began, pouring rain and heavy wind threatened to put an end to the show, but Diana pushed on for much of the set, urging the drenched crowd to remain calm and stay with her. Eventually the torrential storm put an end to the performance, but not before Diana p...
Often as people age, they grow more interested in ancestry. Rod Stewart's musical family tree certainly includes the great crooners of the past--those who took the pop songs included in his Great American Songbook series and turned them into standards. It's fitting, that he should find a late middle-age career revival by paying homage to the music that paved the way for rock clubs, discothèques,...
